Gulnur Zhakhina is a research assistant at the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine. Gulnur Zhakhina obtained her Master of Public Health degree in Nazarbayev University (2019-2021). She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Nazarbayev University (2015-2019). Currently she is a researcher in the grant-awarded project “Aggregation and utilization of the large-scale administrative health data in Kazakhstan for population health research and surveillance”. She performs data management and statistical analysis of big health data. She writes scientific papers on the results of findings. The abstract “Incidence and mortality rates of strokes in Kazakhstan” was accepted for the 8 th European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC) 2022, which was held in Lyon, France, 4-6 May 2022.
